The Hopefuls
Sweet Sounding Rage ...Prypee, the band's debut album is a quality cut. It's melancholy, heartfelt, power pop that transcends what might be expected from such low-budget pop-sters. Better yet, it's not the kind of long-winded bunk that reeks of artificial angst. ..."Sola" is a kind of whimsical song that sounds like it comes from the playground of a pack of demented toddlers. ...Prypee always seems to lead the listener on a moody quest back to some place we have just about lost, making us believe we can live there.
